Photographers have much better solutions with platforms like Squarespace and Wix.

Comment on Indian Wedding Photography Guide for Hindu Wedding Ceremony by Sean Lewis https://www.slrlounge.com/indian-wedding-photography-guide-for-hindu-wedding-ceremony/#comment-761369 Tue, 06 Dec 2022 14:20:32 +0000 https://www.slrlounge.com/?p=911635#comment-761369 In reply to Dino Jeram.

Thanks for your response. It’s certainly not an exhaustive overview, but we did try to include several common elements of Hindu Wedding Ceremonies based on experience. As we mentioned, no two ceremonies are identical, so it would stand to reason that some couples (whether based on local custom or personal preference) might leave out elements like a ring exchange. I imagine such details would be communicated with the couple prior to the event in a real-world setting.

I almost always use my signature flash when I shoot baby and kid assignments. You get a cooler look. Its less expected to use hard light well.

Comment on Profoto A2 Review | The Perfect On-Location Flash for Destination Portraits by William Morton https://www.slrlounge.com/profoto-a2-review/#comment-761159 Thu, 29 Sep 2022 19:24:21 +0000 https://www.slrlounge.com/?p=910770#comment-761159 Playing with mine now and I’ve noted that due to the light spread it’s more ideally suited for use with a softbox/umbrella. As it’s only 100ws and a soft box will knock that down a bit, I likely won’t use it that way. I’ll use my B10 with the soft box. I had hoped to use it with a grid for lighting a speaker at the far end of a crowded room (i.e. at a conference), but have found that with a grid its 100ws yields ½ stop LESS than my older 76ws A1 (zoomed). Food for thought…

RNI makes the best ones, DVLOP are quite good too.

That would be huge. I also find that Luminar actually does a better job of reducing shine on skin. I use both though Portrait Pro is MUCH more full featured than Luminar. Portrait Pro struggles in some ways with group photos with multiple faces…I find that some of the adjustment sliders can cause slight blurring to face sharpness in that situation. I would think that PP v.23 should be out in the next couple of months or so and hope it incorporates your suggestions 🙏
